Strange Currents is the debut double-album from Maryland-based indie pop musician Jonathan Shadel (Brave the River). Catchy melodies, thick harmonies, and colorful experimentation meet on this eclectic pop record, featuring 23 tracks on 2 discs.

Shadel's love for melodic legends (like The Beach Boys and Cat Stevens) intersects with his electronic tinkering on these memorable and surprising pop songs. While Shadel perform's nearly all of the record's instrumentation, other musicians from across several continents make guest appearances,  giving the album a world music flair. Mastered by Ronnie Martin (Joy Electric, Deer and the Headlights, the Faint, etc.) and featuring cover art from renown Spanish artist Conrad Roset (www.conradroset.com), Strange Currents is a captivating visual and musical adventure.
